Qualifying Leads Error

Hello all,

I have previously discussed this issue in these forums before where I was forwarded to get on a call with MS support to look further into the issue.  So far after several hours, I have run through their suggested troubleshooting routes and have yet to come to a conclusion of the error.

Previously we had thought that perhaps a batch upload had some funky data in it causing issues, however we have recently discovered that the issue may actually be during the Lead --> Contact stage.  When a lead is qualified with a Lead/Opportunity, we have no issue.

When we throw Contact into the equation, we get an error:  I've posted it previously and would happily do so again if anyone cares to look a little further.

What I would like to ask:  If you were on the call trying to figure this error out, what would you be asking/looking for?  My experience with MS customer support is that they have a series of 'fixes' for symptoms yet they have absolutely zero interest in discovering the root issue.

I would assume if they have a time stamp/error log they would be able to look into exactly what is causing this.  Yet so far its been "Lets go and mess up everyone's permissions until this works and then we'll call it fixed."

Up until yesterday we had only experienced this issue on a certain batch of uploaded Leads.  Today we have now experienced this with a lead created within CRM.  It was created by the owner, and it was the owner trying to qualify (yet MS support insists on permissions errors...and it may be but it just doesn't make sense to me yet).

Could you clarify the purpose of your post?

From what I can tell, you are getting an error message when you are trying to do something, but you've haven't told us anything about your environment, steps to reproduce the issue, nature of the error message or what troubleshooting steps you've already taken.

I'm not sure how the community can help you.
