I am trying to setup a fixed-price project that uses milestone billing, but I also want to include any actual expenses billed to the project. I have been able to get it to work by creating a T&M subproject and issuing invoices from both projects together. Is this the only way to accomplish this? I was hoping to only have to use one Project Number.

Hi JVermette09,

On a fixed-price project, you can only invoice on-account transactions. On a T&M type of project you can indeed invoice all transaction types. You can consider setting up the project as T&M and ensure you only have the on-account transactions and some expenses posted as chargeable to avoid having a sub project.
