Hi,
I invited a user from a different tenant. The user has accepted and has been successfully created as a guest user. This user appears in the Microsoft 365 admin center as well. I want to add this user to one of my environments in Dynamics 365 Apps.
I go to this section, then go to the environment where I want to add this user:
I click on the "See All" link to view all the users. On the top of this page is the "Add User" link. I click on this:
I get the following:
I enter the guest user's email and then submit. I get teh following error:
The guest user is from the tenant I signed up for in the developer's program (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365) and has the various licenses like Microsoft E5 and Customer Engagement. (these are the trial ones and will eventually expire).
I was wondering could I add guest users that have these types of licenses? (e.g. do they need to be production ones). Or is there another license I need to add?
Jason
Hi Jason Yeung,
I think you'll need this:
https://debajmecrm.com/set-up-external-user-azure-ad-guest-user-access-in-dynamics-365-cds-instance/
Please make sure you add the corresponding license to your environment, the trial version is also available.
