Dear All,

I am facing below issue after updated the CRM 2013, Rollup1 , 2 & 3. Please advice for any solution.

1) Mandatory Asterisk does not appear immediately after the field label (there is blank space in between, which causes the form alignment to get disturbed)
2) Adding a record thru campaign activity sub-grid on Campaign form opens up the new browser window
3) When user navigates to the last page while browsing in the list view, the navigation arrows disappear.

Thanks

Faniel Joseph

    Hi Guido,

I am from Faniel's team and hence, replying to your query above.

We had CRM 2013 UR1  in the development environment. We applied UR2 and UR3 in this environment. During regression testing, we noticed above stated issues given in Faniel's post.

We cannot apply Service Pack 1 at this point due to the functional impact on the implemented functionality.

After applying UR2 and UR3, we noticed below issues during regression testing:

    Thanks in advance!

The sequence for installing rollups is always to install the last one only. There have been a few exceptions in the history of Dynamics CRM versions, which are always explained in the related Update Rollup release KB article. For example, it might say that to install rollup 7 or later you must first install at least rollup 6. So you could install just 6 and then 10, for example.

For CRM 2013 none of the rollups so far have any dependencies. Installing 1 then 2 then 3 is exactly the same as just installing UR3 - each one "rolls up" all the previous fixes.

Not all bugs are discovered immediately, nor fixed immediately, this is why we have regular rollups (sadly, some are there to fix bugs introduced in previous rollups). So if you have a business issue caused by a bug that is only fixed in SP1 or SP1 UR2, then installing that is the only way to fix your problem.

What is the breaking issue for you in SP1 that prevents you from installing it?
