Ability of Importing Project File (mpp) into Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (on-premises)

Dear Experts,

We are using Dynamics 365 Finace and Operations (on-premises). We are finding a way to maximize the utilization of "Project management and accounting" module. I found that there is an integration between D365FO and Project Online. Wondering if we can use Microsoft Project Professional (Desktop) to plan and draft the project and save it as mpp file. Then, import it into D365FO as for WBS imports.

I found that when the WBS is published, the "Open in Microsoft Project" is enabled.

See if there is a feasibility to draft in Project Pro before I publish the WBS.
