What is the best practice for migrating Sharepoint Foundation 2010 Business Portal Database for Great Plains 2010 to another SQL Server

I've found information that is related to moving Business Portal for a previous version of Business Portal and Sharepoint.  I'm assuming some of this is still relevant to my setup, especially starting in Step 3. support.microsoft.com/.../en-us

Since I'm running Great Plains 2010 and Business Portal on Sharepoint Foundation 2010.  I found this article on moving all databases on Sharepoint Foundation 2010.  technet.microsoft.com/.../cc512723(v=office.14).aspx

In this article it describes the process of stopping the Shrepoint farm, detaching databases, and then moving databases to the new server.  The next step describes using SQL Server Configuration manager on the Sharepoint Server to create a New Alias;  and first of course, installing SQL Server Configuration Manager if it is not already installed on the Sharepoint Foundation Server.

Are these the steps I would need to follow to migrate the Business Portal Sharepoint Foundation databases to a new SQL Server?

I thought there would be an area within the Sharepoint 2010 Foundation Central Management to point to the new location of the Sharepoint databases and also the Content Databases.

Since I didn't find an article specific to my configuration of Business Portal only older versions I'm trying to locate what information is applicable to my setup.

I look forward to hearing back from someone who has experience with this scenario.

Thanks,

Shawn Martin
