exporting matrix items - is there a way of creating a csv file for uploads when exporting purchase orders containing matrix items?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

When I export a purchase order with standard items to excel, I can easily create a csv file to upload it to suppliers' websites, but when I export a purchase order containing matrix items, RMS creates a table with sizes and colours that doesn't have supplier reorder numbers and to be able to upload my order to B2B sites I need to manually add supplier reorder numbers. Is there a way of changing the way RMS exports purchase orders so I would have order lines instead of those tables?

I've never learned .xsl, so I can't tell you exactly how to edit it, but I think your answer is going to be creating a custom purchase order style sheet or modifying the default one. The files are located in Microsoft Retail Management System/Store Operations/POFormats/ .
