I wanted to check is there any way we can run a report in Fixed assets where it can include location from the “Books” field / tab. When I click on “Books” tab in fixed assets in D365, a page opens where we enter the location of the asset. When I run a report of all the fixed assets entered in D365, I wanted to see if we can include the location field which is there in the “Books” section in the report. There is a location field in the report but that is the one I enter on the first page while entering the fixed assets. I wanted to see if we can add the location field which is in the “Books” section.
Can you please share which field you are referring?
Also, it its just about extracting same books data , it can be extracted using data entity if that field is available on that form.
If you are referring to add SSRS report then you need customization.
Data entity which can be used is "Fixedassetbooks" might be V2 or V3

You can not add fields to SSRS reports with UI. You can do by development.
