Change shipping companies??

In out GP setup, we have a dozen or so shipping methods defined for UPS. Now we want to switch the carrier that those methods are mapped to. But I can not find where to do that. I see the Shipping Methods Setup dialog under Tools > Setup > Company > Shipping Methods has Carrier and Account fields but for us they are all empty. There must be a different place where the methods are being mapped to our shipping carriers. But where is it??

    RE: Change shipping companies??

As far as I know, shipping methods are used only to determine whether your shipping method is pickup or delivery. The pickup or delivery information is used by the sales/purchasing tax engine. The shipping method code also shows up on certain forms.

If you click on the magnifying glass next to the shipping method, are your shipping methods listed? Shipping method I think can be set to default from pm setup. Each vendor can also be assigned a shipping method. I don't think there is a table that ties a shipping method to specific carrier. Therefore, there's no place you can go to switch the carrier and have it roll down to all the shipping methods using the old carrier.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
