Email Template returning "An unexpected error occurred"

Hello Community,

We are developing a new Ticket Tool using Dynamics 365 and to perform the responses of a Ticket, we've established a Standard Layout that will be filled by the response team.

To create this standard layout, we are using HTML code and complementing it with Dynamic fields.

Our Dynamics developer succesfully uses this templates with no issues, but when me and the others from the team tried to include the template, the following issue appears:

Any idea of what could be happening?

Best regards,

Diego Valverde

    Hi Partner,

    Please check the following points.

1.Use the same security role with same permission as the developer has and try again to check if this issue is caused by permission.

2.Try to find more error information in F12 developer tool or Settings->System Jobs.

3.Are you using the same instance, browser with developer?

4.Try to clear all the caches and cookies in your browser.

If the issue still exists, please contact your developer to compare all the steps using email template or you could  raise a ticket to Microsoft and let the engineer help you find out the reason on server side.

    Regards,

    Leo

    Hi Leo!

Thank you very much for your response.

I never imagine that the problem could be security role, but it was.

We are now trying to understand which security roles allows people to add templates.

    Have a nice week!

    Hi Partner,

You should enable the "Email Template" permission for your security role.

It's in the core records tab.

And if my answer helped you, please mark my answer as verified.
