Wrong amount when depreciation from Reclassified Fixed Asset

Dear all AX Experts,

I'm using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3,

Please help me, my client reclassify his asset ( he want to change the fixed asset group), this fixed asset already have depreciation from January till august and AX give correct amounts, and yesterday he reclassify the fixed asset and today when he want to create depreciation for September, AX give the wrong amount of depreciation when he using depreciation proposal. when he checked the amount is prorated and not full month depreciation but before doing the reclassification AX give correct amount which is a full month amount. Any solutions?

    Hi Christopher,

    Have you checked the depreciation convention parameter that is available in the fixed asset value model that is attached to your fixed asset. Is this parameter set to full months? If not, please try to change it and generate a new depreciation proposal.

    Thanks for ur response,

    I can't change it in tab depreciation because the fixed asset is reclassified from other fixed asset so already have some depreciations transaction, are there other ways to change it? But when i try in my testing development, the result same, when i do depreciation from reclassified fixed asset, the depreciation count daily and not full month

    Can you check if the method at your value model changes if you open the setup - value models form and try to modify the setting from there?
