Using Dynamics 365 SP2.2 (8.2.2) On Premises and Server Side Synchronisation to Exchange On Premises.
We have a Automatic Record Creation rule for emails received by our "Support" email address.
The rule belongs to a user record associated to the "Support" address' queue/mailbox record.
A case is created and assigned to a "Dispatch" team.
However, when consulting the email activity record's shares, I see that a share has been created with "Read" privilege for the owner of the case creation rule.
Why is this? Is it hard coded behavior?
I tried adjusting cascading rules but so far that share gets added to the email record no matter what.
I came across this while trying do housekeeping on the database and seeing a lot of POA records associated to the case creation rule owner. I really don't see the use of that share and would rather it not be created.
And if it's not really necessary, I'd like to remove the exisiting shares to lighten the POA table.
Any info/input/insight is appreciated!
