Can assigned user ID be auto-populated?

Is there any way of getting the assigned user ID to auto populate rather than the user having to select themselves each time?

Could it maybe be linked with their windows log in?

Don't mind which way it's done - just want to know if it's possible and how.

Thanks

    If the person creating the sales order and "Assigned User ID" is always same, you need to go for small customization, as this functionality is not available in standard.

    In Table 36, you can add following in OnInsert Trigger, however you would need development license to do this.

    "Assigned User ID" = USERID;

    Thank you - I think we have the dev environment so I will see if we can do this

    Hi Selina,

    You need developer license as well to modify the code in Table 36 (Sales Header)
