GP 10 to 2103 Upgrade Application and Infrastructure Advice

I know I am asking a very nebulious question.....and there is a reason!

My client currnelty has muti-organiaztion archictecture rolled in one corporate instance. The interesting part is that the muti-organizations are `different organizations'. I am given to understand that this was an aceeptable design for GP 9.0 , however my cleint implemented it for GP10, and this archecture is in operation.

Now they wish to upgrade to GP2013 R2 and there are opportunties and challanges: hence my three simple questions:

1. What is the justification to keep the current model (I understand FRX will not work)...Is thare another compelling resaon for or against the option?

2. What would you recommend and why?

2. Can this be supported with some stats?

No, these are different organiazations with no relationship with each other.

Pervez,

kindly clarify more on the muti-organizations,are they multiple companies?

If yes,its also supported by higher version of GP and in your case GP2013 R2.

Frx can work in this case but microsoft no longer support it as it advises we use Management reporter.
