Reducing GL account length and analytical accounting

I just reduced the number of GL segments by one using Tools->Utilities->System->Reconcile->Account Format Setup. There were no values in the fifth segment so now there are only 4 segments. Will this in any way negatively affect Analytical Accounting?

    Richard,

    This shouldn't affect your Analytical Accounting settings because of the consistency of the Account Index (ACTINDX) field.  How the account appears in GP is basically cosmetic.
