Since the Yahoo daily exchange rate insert app is no longer working with D365 Business Central, is there a new app that can automatically import the daily exchange rates into D365 Business Central?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Kat T,

Business Central requires a exchange rate service that provides an XML feed. Most of the free feeds out there tend to be JSON based. Try FloatRates.com.

Be sure to set the Transformation Rule for the date field as shown in my screenshot. And be sure to Enable it.

FloatRates also has some custom source features, and I plan to blog about it when I have a chance in the coming weeks.

I hope this helps. If my response has answered your question, please verify by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"

Is there a way to have the system automatically update the rates in BC? (without the user having to press the 'update rates' button)?

In the Currency Exchange Rate Services, when you enable the service, it will automatically create a job queue entry. Go to that job queue entry and you can setup the schedule.

    Hi all

Just wanted to see if anyone has been experiencing problems with the FloatRates service. I have a Dynamics GP application that calls the service directly and I have noticed that 1 in 20 calls result in an error indicating the 'database connections has reached its limit'. After receiving the error, I retry 60 seconds later and it does successfully call the service.  Please let me know if you have experienced similar problems within BC.

I have a few clients using floatrates and have the same issue.
