CJ to CID segment fails

When attempting to send a mail with a CIJ Segment-based journey to a CID segment, using an email with CID audience personalization I get the below error (CJ dont know any email fields), which seems strange, since the segment members DO have an email (see last pic)

Have you mapped your Audience email field for customer profiles in Settings?
