Workflow issue for fields

Posted on by 1,075

Hello Community Experts,

I created a new Custom multi-select field named "Technology New" and i had an old option set field named "Technology"

I want to update all the data from Technology to Technology New, I'm trying a workflow like this, "if Technology equals Java then update Technology New to Java"

But the issue is, in the workflow form editor, I'm not able to see the newly created custom field named Technology New. I tried removing field and adding again, also i tried to re-create the field, but nothing worked.

Kindly help me in resolving this issue.

Best Regards,

Sumaira Noor

    I learnt it new...

This is a limitation on multi select field.

Please refer below for more information. (and other limitations of multi select field)

To achieve your task you might need to go ahead with a custom workflow action.

In workflow form editor please check in the tab "Additional Fields" - you should find the field here.

    Note:

Recheck the field properties if "Visible by default" is set to Yes

Please place the field on the form and publish.
