Doing a search for <strong>KB904038</strong> in PartnerSource does return the correct article.
Doing a Bing! or Google search for it will also find it as Microsoft released a lot of Knowledge Base articles to the publicly available Microsoft Support site this year (last year?).
does searching for KB's still work? I have tried and tried different combinations of KB ######, or ###### etc into customer source and cannot get any results back from search., The search is looking in the title of the KB's not hte KB number itself - or so it would appear.
any help appreciatied.

Hello Sayed,
To check it you need to have access to Microsoft Partner Source or Customer Source .
Then on your left , you will find support -> Knowledge Base -> Then search for article number you mentioned.
