Workflow Issue: Stopped (error): X++ Exception: Work item could not be created.

Hello,

I have found this error after launched the Worflow. The complete error message is the following:  

((Stopped (error): X++ Exception: Work item could not be created. Insufficient security permissions for user ABC. Please review the user's security permissions to ensure they are sufficient for this workflow document and then resume the workflow.
at SysWorkflowWorkItem-))

Ther user ABC has the associated role as System Administrator.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

    Hello,

    Which type of assignment you are using?

    If managerial or configurable hierarchy you are using, then you need to check the reports to person of ABC has the roles assigned.

    The assignment type is "user":

    The role assigned to the user ABC is System Administrator.

    For which workflow are you getting this error?

    The type of Workflow is "PurchAgreementType" Workflow. It is a standard type of Workflow.

    The error can come in following situation:

    1. If user doesn't have approval rights (Approval related security is not assigned)

    2. If user doesn't have access to Menu item associated with workflow in this case (PurchAgreementDetails)

    3. If no employee is mapped to the user

    Can you double check if the Role "System administrator" is assigned also check any other roles that are assigned.

    Hi TechedgeGroup,

    In addition to Sumit and Ramit, also please check if the user ID of this user who is set as approver in the workflow, is set to "Enabled" in System administration > Users form.
