Hello everybody!

I need to call a custom javascript code when clicked on resolve case button.

I have added my code using Ribbon Workbench editor and it worked but my requirement is to intercept resolve case pop-up window. I dont want the window to be called if my javascript code is true.

Can pls give me advise ?

    Hi,

What's happening after you added your code? Do they both fire independently, or is it just yours?

    Thanks,

    Hi, thanks for answering.

Both runs but not at the same time. Firstly my code runs and after that resolve case popup window appears. I dont want resolve case button to appear when my code runs.

    Hi,

If you don't want the standard resolve popup to show at all, use the Ribbon Workbench to hide the existing button and add a new one in its place, using the same icon. To the end user it will look exactly the same but you can have it call your code without worrying about the native behavior!

Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you'd mark this as Answering your question.

    Thanks,

     Aiden

My intend is not not to hide the button. If my code runs, it will give an alert and then standard resolve button will not come front. All i need is that.

    Thanks.

    Hi

    There are two way,

    1) Hide those resolve button and create a new button and apply your logic

2)In the resolve button command check which js file it points and apply your custom logic over there.

    Note:

2nd point is unsupported way of customization

I consider about second option but did not want to do it.

Is there a way to work on onClick event ?
