Hi,
After checking a condition I would cancel the Onchange event on the lookup field and thus keep the old value on the field. How to do ?I use CRM 2016 with December Update
Thanks

to set a old value to the look up field, you should write a query to get it's data into crm database and populate into it.
You could do a real-time workflow so that when a field changes, you copy the previous value into a secondary field. You could then populate your original field based on that secondary field using JS.
You'd need to make sure you don't end up in a loop, however!
you can save the value in a global variable on the load of the page, and set that value after checking your condition....
