What is the best way to create fairly personalized graphs in Business central

Hello Everyone,

What is the best way to create fairly personalized graphs in Business central?

I know that we can use Business chart addins, but I see that we are quickly limited on simple customizations such as the choice of colors for each series to be represented for example (you can correct me if I'm wrong).

I also saw the possibility of creating your own control addins, and I think that with the use of JS libraries (like chart.js) you can create fairly personalized graphs.

I don't know if there are other options (staying on business central), or which of the two is the right choice.

Thank you for your valuable responses.

Hi, personally, I think the best way is Power Bi. The following is a simple example, hoping to give you some hints.

    I checked and

What I understood is that 1- we create the report in PowerBI, 2- We publish it to business central, 3- we add it as control part in BC.

But my question is : when other data will be posted in business central (data source for powerBI need to update), we have to repeat the same steps to update the reports?
