If Standard Sales Invoice Report is not suitable for what you need then you need to go with a Custom Report for this.

Sadly, ProForma Invoice standard report did not appear until the transition to BC. I would ask your DEV person to take the base Sales Invoice report and repoint the field values back to the Sales Order with the appropriate calculations to make it a ProForma.
