Post the sales tax liability when product is shipped, not when invoiced

The client is a construction company and uses Project accounting.

The issue we are having is how is it possible to post the sales tax liability upon shipment.

Because there can be a delay between shipment and invoicing, the client does not want to book the sales tax liability at invoicing, but at shipment.

I have not seen this before.

Can you offer any insights as to how this might be accomplished?

I dont think this is possible to have sales tax in packing slip posting.

Has anyone seen this setting in actin?

In Inventory and Warehouse Management Parameters, on the Inventory Accounting tab, there is a toggle for “Post Physical Sales Tax.”
