Does anybody else experience this behaviour and/or suggest a resolution (other than "switchto UCI")?

Using a Legacy Interafce App.

When a Contact Record is opened from the Contact Hierarchy Visualisation, the selected record form opens in the context of the default App instead of the App that the User started from.

That's a great workaround.

I'd never noticed that checkmark before.

Coupled with a script in the default app to bounce unauthorised users out, that may solve it.

Hi Chris,

Do you mean it will pop up a new tab page to open contact form instead of inside the original tab page?

If you click the 'Open this record' button in the upper right corner of the contact card, it does open the record in a new tab page that pops up.

If you would open the record in the original tab page, you need to select the record and click the Edit button in the command bar.
