Hello! We're deploying Business Central to our business right now and we have mostly remote employees that will only be interacting with Time and Expense functionality. As mobile workers, we've also deployed Intune app protection policies to protect our O365 apps and data so that we don't need to manage all the mobile devices of our employees. However, I can't seem to find the Business Central mobile app in the App Protection policy list of public apps. Has anyone successfully done this? If anyone has any information on this or how to protect Business Central mobile apps in general, I'd love to hear about it.
Thank you!
Steve,
I appreciate the input. Thank you! I had already done this, but unfortunately it doesn't really add much in the way of actual protection since the mobile Business Central app has not been wrapped by the Intune SDK to enable the protection features. So, while it's deployed into an app protection policy, it's not really possible to set and enforce policies. I've since added a UserVoice suggestion for it here -

Please feel free to vote and maybe it will be addressed in the near future!
Matt,
I have not seen Business Central on the list either and it might be coming in the future, but unknown. In the meantime, it was my understanding you can Add an APP to Intune. Here are a few links that might help. Sorry I could not help further.
Add Apps to Microsoft Intune: docs.microsoft.com/.../apps-add
Intune protected apps: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/apps-supported-intune-apps
Microsoft Endpoint Manager Support: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/get-support?toc=/mem/intune/fundamentals/toc.json&bc=/mem/intune/fundamentals/breadcrumb/toc.json
Please verify the reply if it answers your query.
Thank you and Stay Safe,
Steve
