Hi All,

Can you suggest a method to sell one-off item without keeping item card and the purchase item as a special order, this one off item has its own cost and selling price and they need to be manually entered in  the sales order

Thanks

How own cost of this item would be formed? If it should have purchase price and sales price, then better to use item card for this. If you do not want to see it in the items list, you can use special number of series or group for that. You can also check non-stock items: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh167976(v=nav.90).aspx

If that item is associated with cost then create special item and follow the transaction

As well as havs a look at non stock item process also
