Can a BC Team Member user submit timesheets?

Hi everybody!

Our potential customer asks if they will be able to use Team Member licenses for filling in and submitting Job (Project) Time Sheets.

There is only one line about Time sheets for Team Member license in the official licensing guide: "Edit Job Time Sheets: Users can edit job time sheets for approval.", which actually doesn't answer to question about submitting.

Maybe you have live experience using a limited license for timesheets.

However, based on licensing restrictions, submitting time sheets for approval may not be fully supported under a Team Member license. If the customer needs users to both fill in and submit time sheets, it's best to test this in a sandbox environment or consult Microsoft's latest licensing guide. Alternatively, they may need an Essentials or Premium license if full submission functionality is required.

Hello,

In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, users with a Team Member license can indeed fill in and submit Job (Project) Time Sheets. The licensing guide mentions that Team Members can "edit job time sheets for approval," which includes the ability to submit them for approval.

his means that Team Members can complete their time entries and submit them for review by an approver.
