My company prints on card stock and needs to continue to do so. However, I would like to be able to go into an event or session and print attendee badges in bulk. How can I make this happen? How can I ensure CRM will use the template settings that I need? In an ideal world, I would like to have a button appear on the ribbon to print these badges.

Have you considered using a Mail Merge for this? You can define the page layout in MS Word to correspond with label stock. After selecting the records you want to "merge" from a sub-grid, on the "ADD" tab on the ribbon there should be a mail Merge option - this will give you a choice of templates to choose from.
