Changing & Deleting transactions

I'm fairly new to GP.  I strongly believe that I have someone going back and changing and / or deleting transactions after the fact due to errors being made, etc. and the person or people are trying to hide the error.  This is causing serious issues with the bank rec., not to mention the huge internal control issue  How can I find out what is happening, what is being changed, etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you have an old back up, you can set it up on a test environment and compare the results.

Well, given what you said about deletion not a possibility, it would appear that I might have to go back and reinvestigate.

Is there a way I can go into GP and re-do a bank rec., and compare that with what was originally printed out?

    RE: Changing & Deleting transactions

It is possible that you can turn GP auditing functionality on or add the necessary SQL triggers to populate a new table with the values needed to determine what is happening.

GP wont allow the deletion of posted transactions, even unposted may require voiding depending on settings. Edits of posted transactions are very limited and don't impact any fields tied to financial level data and are usually limited to document due dates, description, etc...

What issues are you seeing and maybe we can help resolve.
