Bulk delete CRM Accounts with no data

Hello,

I imported my account into CRM using a .csv file and wound up with 10,000+ Accounts with no data (I did import my 4572 Accounts). I am familiar with older version of Dynamics CRM and tried the Bulk Delete tool with the intention of defining the search criteria as "Account Name" "Does Not Contain Data". However, Dynamics CRM 365 does not have this option. I was able to select "Account Name" then the next field has options ranging from "Equals" to  "Does Not End With" and then there is a text field. I have unsuccessfully tried leaving the text field blank, used spaces, and a variety of other potential wildcards.

Does anyone have any suggestions for deleting these 10,000+ accounts?

    Ric,

    Are you using advance find?

    This should appear there.

    Hi Ric,

    I am not sure what you are talking about, but Bulk Delete does have an Option for Does Not Contain Data. Please try again.

    Go to Settings -> Data Management -> Bulk Record Deletion.

    Create a New Bulk Record Deletion record.

    In the Look for Select Account. In the fields select Account Name Does Not Contain Data.

    Hope this helps.

    If you are creating the Bulk delete programmatically (in a C# plugin for example) using BulkDeleteQuery, then  ConditionOperator.Null produces the "Does Not Contain Data" option.

    e.g.

    var OrphanedCondition  = new ConditionExpression(  "AccountName", ConditionOperator.Null);

    In the System Job's Bulk Delete Information screen this gets rendered as: "Account Name Does Not Contain Data", which I found confusing until I read your question.
