Rename Sales Tax Code with existing transaction data

Is it possible to rename sales tax code name with the condition posted data (Sales Order) is there? The posted transaction currently using STC-0%.

Scenario - Currently the Sales tax codes name is STC-0%.

New request- STC-0%(S)

When I had tried rename in the options>>record info system able to rename it. However, when I try to create new sales order the system prompt an error The tax code 'STC-0%' was not found in company MAL

Localization for MYS country.

    Hi Hearmin,

    It is possible while rename the unique record key and it can be time consuming because all references will be updated too. It is dependent of your business requirement and what are perspective for this modification in relation to quantity of transactions and affected companies.

    Have you tried to do this modification on test environment? have you checked if on parameteres the sales tax codes have been renamed? for example, on customer group and on Customer card that are related to sales order.

    Yes. Rename to the new request STC-0%(S)

    Yes, able to rename as STC-0%(S). However when create the new Sales Order system prompt an error "The tax code 'STC-0%' was not found in company MAL"
