Outlook Ribbon / Toolbar is Missing Some CRM Buttons

We just finished our upgrade from 4.0 to 2011 (on premises).  When using my Outlook 2007 CRM Client, I noticed that I no longer have a "Run Workflow" button on my CRM toolbar when viewing multiple Accounts or any other entity in multiple record views.  The only CRM buttons I see in Outlook are New Activity, New Record, Track in CRM, Set Regarding, Advance Find, Go Offline.  In version 4.0, I also had "Run Workflow".  We also have the IFD/Web client and it shows the Run Workflow plus plenty of other buttons when viewing multiple records of an entity.  H.E.L.P.!

I just got off with MS Support.  Out Contact Track button was missing because the synchronization filter view for My Contacts was inactive.  We are still having some issue with Appointments.

I would also check, if you haven't already, that all of your workflows upgraded properly and are "Activated".  If there is not an Activated workflow for an entity the Run Workflow button will not show up in the Ribbon.

Also, double-check Security roles to make sure the "Execute Workflow" permission is still set.

I also came across this as the original CRM tool bar had changed since the last time I had used CRM through Outlook 2007. After looking into this in more detail, I have now found where this functionality has been moved to in Outlook 2007.

You will see on the menu bar (File | Edit etc) a new drop down for whichever folder you are in. For example if you are say in the Contact folder in CRM you will see a drop down list (probably next to "Edit") called "Contact". If you click on that you will then see more functionality which includes "Run Workflow" etc.
