TimeSheets generate General Ledger entries in a particular legal entity (Only in 132 GL but not in 110 GL) when creating Behalf of another

Hello Everyone,

I am facing some issue while posting timesheet transactions in a particular company (Let's say USMF).

Go to->Employee Self Service->Time sheets->create a new time sheet for another user (Need to do setup in path below path : Project management and accounting->Setup-> Time Sheets -> All Delegates).

After creating new time sheet,create two lines for time sheet. Create first line with "DAT" Legal Entity project and the create another line with "USMF" Legal entity project.

After that ,submit your time sheet for approval VIA Workflow and approve that which inturn gets approved and posted your time sheet  transactions.

Here Issue is "Time sheet related transactions data populating in General Ledger ->  Inquiries and reports -> Voucher transactions instead of PMA .

Actually it should populate in PMA -> All projects -> select the timesheet related project->"manage" tab->posted transactions.

Issue is with only "USMF" legal entity/delegated user.

I need help technically as well (Workflow used for time sheet submission was "TSWorkFlowActionManager"),

tried to debug but unable to find how time sheet posting happens.

    Hi krishna srikanth,

    Why do you post a transaction into DAT?

    What is exactly the issue? I do not really understand your issue with the GL transactions and the project postings?

    Would be great if you could elaborate.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Please find below steps to understand my issue

    - connect to LegalEntity 132

    - create a delegation to allow enter TS on behalf of other resource (for example "Julia Funderburk")

    - create a new TS as Julia Funderburk

    - Added time on the 110,132 projects/tasks as mentioned below

    - submit and approve the TS

    - wait the TS is in posted status

    - note down the TS number (132-000383 in my case)

    - In 132 LE, Navigate to General Ledger -> Voucher Transaction

    - After Run the inquiry as it is

    - Look at the last journal number in General Ledger->Inquiries and reports -> Voucher transactions and click on "audit trail", you will find the same time sheet number ,which is not to happen in GL.

    We are getting this issue only when you are adding different LE Projects when entering TS for behalf of other.

    Instead should show time sheet related transactions in PMA-> All Projects - > click on "project ID's used to submit for TS" (My case:10000396_001,10001543_001) -> 'Manage' tab -> Posted transactions.

    Finally, working as expected after commenting below code in 'TSTimeSheetPosts- postSourceDocument() method' -"SourceDocumentProcessorFacade::submitSourceDocumentImplementation(tsTimesheetTable, false, SourceDocumentAccountingStatus::Completed); "

    which is standard code and using the above line of code in customized code as well.

    yes my issue got resolved after commenting out piece of code.
