Hi Folks,

Hope you are well. I had a question related to sent emails from business central. We are facing a strange issue, when we send the email from Business central i.e Order Confirmation, emails are sending successfully through the email mention in FROM i.e info@dynamics360.net(as per configuration) but we are not able to find them in the sent items of the this email info@dynamics360.net. Instead, I can see it in my user's sent item/folder which is different than the info@dynamics360.net email.

Please let me know if there is any configuration which is missing or what's wrong here.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

For testing this issue, just send one email from order confirmation again, and before sending on Email page check what is the email id system is using as From email id.

    Thanks

There is no way to change this within BC.  This is actually an M365/O365 issue more than a BC issue.  When you are a member of a Shared Mailbox, when you send an email as the Shared Mailbox it is saved in the Users Sent folder.

Microsoft has documented a process to create a copy of the email in the Shared Mailbox sent folder, but because the information is already available in BC we haven't found a need to do this.

The good news is the email is correctly going out as the Shared Mailbox alias, and when a customer/vendor replies it will go to the Shared Mailbox inbox.

Thanks Nitin. I already tested this and it shows the correct Email ID in FROM. But still, I am not able to find the sent emails in the FROM sent folder but in the sent folder of user email.
