How to get the entity name from the public collection name

Hi..I have the public collection name but I need to know how can I get the entity name by knowing the public collection name?

    You can use Metadata search in Visual Studio to find the entity with this property value.

    can you give me the syntax, because i used metadata search by typing the public collection name directly but nothing is returned

    As you see, that's not how it works. Please look into documentation (Metadata search in Visual Studio) to learn how to use it the search.

    In your case, it should be something like type:dataentity property:PublicCollectionName=CustomersV2. Unfortunately I don't have an environment on hand to test it.

    This is my suggestion fixed and tested. (I had to use dataentityview instead of dataentity):

    type:dataentityview property:PublicCollectionName=CustomersV2
