Jobs Module -- No Revenue Recognition or Costs

Hi:

The end user wants to track project management in Business Central.

In one example of a project, they are given a design for fuel tanks.  They research and study what’s going to be necessary for coating the tanks.

There is R&D and engineering design for this.  Plus, there is a holistic testing process to see if this design will work.  CAD is used.

There is not much concern, then, about either project cost or revenue recognition.  In fact, revenue is simply recognized at the time of invoicing the customer.

The product is the project, along with engineering fees and labor costs.

Would the Jobs module within Business Central be able to accommodate all of this?

Thanks!

John
