Hello all,

Is it possible to run the same BPF against one instance of an entity assuming we are completing the BPF before creating a new one?  Please let me know if you need an example.

Thanks in advance.

Can you post here your actual business scenario , Ideally you can switch with same BPF but it will show the completed one.

Basically you can Reactivate the same BPF after it's competed.

Latest version allows you to Abandon(Abort) a BPF, Switch between concurrent BPFs & continue where it was left off.

This is possible because each BPF is a custom entity and when BPF applied against each record, a new record in custom entity will be created & store the stage, traversedpath, changed time. This same record will be updated back & forth with stage hops. So multiple instance for same BPF is not intended use.

If you are looking for reporting purpose like how many times the same BPF been applied (somewhat similar to closing/reopening incidents), it’s not that easy with OOB.

Yes, you can. In fact this is what changed in the new BPF architecture. You can use multiple BPF for an entity. Once the BPF is completed, you can eithe rreactivate the old one or use a different (if applicable).

    Hope this helps.
