Dear Communities,

I want to make form freeze/grey screen once user click save button (User shouldn't click any buttons and update any fields till record saved). want to show dialog box as "Do not close or refresh browser" once save button click , the dialog box should show till record saved.

Please help me to work around this one.

Hi Dan,

If you are on V9 then you can use the progress bar api.

Check this: community.dynamics.com/.../dynamics-365-v9-progress-indicator-api

If not then you can explore alert.js

Hi Ravi,

Appreciated your quick response.

V9 progress indicator API really impressed but we're using V8.2.

I looked that alert.JS but its not exactly what we're looking.
our requirement is we need to freeze screen like the below screenshot( the form is looks grey colour that's what we want)and there should be one alert but in the alert shouldn't have any options like OK and Cancel..just we want alert box only and that alert box should show till record saved.

Hi Dan,

You can lock all the field on form using below link,

community.dynamics.com/.../lock-all-fields-on-a-form-using-javascript-microsoft-dynamics-crm

and also you can show message using Alert js as mention by ravi, you can set timeout of 3 second in that so alert message will disapper.
