How to get 'Voucher transactions' report from General Ledger exported?

Hey,

I'm working with a client that wants to run the 'Voucher Transactions' in the General Ledger Module, then in their current process, they copy the results into an excel file and move on.

I would like to export that data using the entities to either BYOD or into an azure data lake or synapse database and then have them connect power bi to it. Then have the process automated.

So first, I am asking how to find which entities I can find the data in? And second, is there a way to see how that report is put together, or the query structure it uses?

Hi There is one entity which gives you limited information on voucher transactions:

General journal account entry

But if you wish to get exact same information as Voucher transactions then you might need to consider following tables as well

General journal entry

Main account

Financial calendar

Dimension code

Hi J D,

You can use standard entity "General journal account entry". Publish it against your Azure SQL DB and try to export data.

You can also use "General journal account entry reporting" for exporting voucher transactions.
