Foreign keys, Entity relationships

Hi Community,

Is there a way to set a relation between entities based on a field of your choosing?

For example, I would like to set the relation between an account entity and the order entity based on ID from an ERP system.

Meaning, when the ERP ID is changed on the account card, the relationship with the order entity is removed.

Thanks, Debbie

    Hi,

No out of the box process but you should be able to implement this using custom development, you can have custom plugin which will triger on account update will check if value if this id field is change will disassociate order record for that account. But you need to consider if there is orders which fulfilled how you will be handling them.

    Thanks
