Is it possible to prevent Opportunities from opening as a modal from the KanBan view?

I  have a dashboard in Dynamics 365 Sales that includes a KanBan view. I have a request that we stop opening the cards in modals and instead do it in browser... this is driven by them not liking that it takes them completely away from the dashboard and opportunity if they add an activity to the opportunity. Is it possible to achieve this?

    Hi Partner,

    Unfortunately, you can't achieve it, which is by-design.

    If you enabled KanBan control in the opportunity view, Opportunity title is clickable in each block which opens the opportunity in modal window for quick update without navigating to different screen.

    If you don't want to open records with modal dialog, you need use Read-only Grid (default) control not KanBan control in the view.
