DaysUntilExpiration LoginProperty for sql server 2012

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

did anyone else experience a problem with the daysuntilexpiration property when upgrading to SQL 2012? I have had a script a place that tells us when the password expires. In SQL 2008 everything works fine but the same property gives me -1 for everything in the 2012 environment? any ideas? is that a new change?

    Hello Adal,

Along with this forum, you may also want to ask this in the Microsoft SQL Server forum, especially if the issue is in regards to upgrading to SQL 2012 and/or the 'daysuntilexpiration' property being used in a script.

That way, a technician from Microsoft SQL Server support will see it and they may've seen or heard of something related to what you're seeing.

From the Microsoft Dynamics GP side, we haven't seen or heard of anything, but we don't handle SQL upgrades nor use this property much if at all.

    Thanks,
