Scoot I believe Syde mentioned those steps in his first post. Those instructions are for Microsoft POS. How do you change it in Microsoft RMS?

If you want to re-register the RMS program, follow Scott's instructions.

But if you want to change the Register number its in Start | All Programs | Microsoft Dynamics RMS | Store Ops Administrator | File Configuration | Register tab | Register Number

Thank you for your question Syed.

In the Registry Editor, there is no value called Register at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ Microsoft/Store Operations POS/Registration, you would want to delete the Registration folder nester under the Store Operations POS folder.

We recommend making a backup of your registry before making any edits. To do this go to File | Export in the Registry Editor, save and name the backup to something that will let you easily find it and identify the backup file.
