Some batches don't post to Quickbooks

Hello all,

I have a strange problem that just came up within the last two weeks.  Batches have been posting fine and now randoms ones come up with an error and won't post.  It's not just a specific day, it may only be one register out of a day.  I can't seem to find any difference from the ones that post and the ones that don't.  They all seems to have the same type on information. It pops up and error and says to look at the log file which I can't find.  Does anyone have an answer on either question? First question; why do random batches not post. Second question; Where is the log file if not where RMS says it's supposed to be?

    Log folder is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Retail Management System\Store Operations\Logs

    if you are running 32bit OS remove (x86) from the above path
