MICR Font on BC on-premise 16.0

I'm attempting to print the Check report (1401) with a MICR code.

I've installed various MICR fonts  (both TrueType and OpenType) and tried using each by setting the MICR code field to use the font installed. However none of these worked.

Inspecting the fonts on the PDF shows that Microsoft Sans Serif font is being substituted for the MICR font.

I've also noticed that the fonts do work with the NAV v14.02 Windows client but not the web client (both v14.02 and v16.0 web clients).

See below listing of fonts that I've tried:
IDAutomationSCMC7 Demo Regular
IDAutomationSCMC7n10 Demo Regular
IDAutomationSCMC7n25 Demo Regular
IDAutomationSCMC7n40 Demo Regular
IDAutomationSMICR Demo Regular
MICR 012 Medium
MICR Encoding Regular
MICR Normal

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Duilio.

It's definitely an issue with how SSRS handles custom fonts when PDF-ing and printing reports via web applications as It works perfectly for windows applications.

With NST I mean middle tier machine where service is located.

If you have an all in one machine then it is enough to reboot to let the font be added probably to the font family.

If this applies Font substitution then the issue might lies in one of the aforementioned limitation for RDL report. These limitations are imposed by SSRS report viewer component  See below

How do I install fonts in NST?

I'm testing this on my local machine ( Windows 10) and the fonts do show up in the windows font listing.

But I'm not sure what you mean by NST. Can you clarify?

Fonts must be installed server side in NST and Web Server machine. Once this is done, you have to reboot machine to make the Font uptake effective.

Tattoo in mind that if you want the Font to be stored in RDL reports you have to satisfy the following

    a. They must be TrueType

    b. Font Embeddability must not be restricted

    c. The control where the Font lies must not be explicitly hidden = true

If you are using Word Layout, you might use the embed font option in Word.
