Advanced find: all contacts who sent an email with a specific subject (regarding field empty)

Dear Community,

I've been searching around and cant find a solution to my query.

I am trying to find all contacts in the CRM who sent me an email with a specific subject. The issue is that these emails were tracked from outlook and so the 'Regarding' field is empty. In the advanced find I can only see activities (regarding) and emails (regarding), not emails where the sender is the contact.

Does anyone have an idea of how I might be able to solve this?

    Hello Maxwell,

    Please try the following: on Advanced Fiind on Email, filter after Subject, Sender and Recipient.

    Also, a custom Report might work as well.

    I don't think you can pull this data directly into a workflow :( You'd need a certain level of manual work here.

    In case other posters know a way, I'd be delighted!

    I was afraid this might be the case. It seems such a simple request, contacts who've sent an email, but is causing a lot of trouble!
