Filtering the field [Look for] to default value [Team] and not [User]

Posted on by 5

Hello all

When I need to share a record, the default value of field [Look for] need to be "TEAM" (as a business requirement) and not "User".

I though make a js function to change the value, but as a newbie in dynamics, don't know where i can call the function, the window is not a 'form' i can change, or i cant find it.

So, the question, is this possible to make and how?

Thanks in advanced

    Hi PmC,

    Unfortunately it cannot be done.

In Dynamics, the JS can only be used in a form.

Here is a tutorial about it: How to add JavaScript to form on load in Dynamics 365 | by Fredrik Engseth | Medium

But the share dialog is not a form, which cannot be customized with JS.
