Hide some Address1 (Composite Attribute) value

Hi Guys,

I have an occasion.

I have created one field -> Option Set "Country" to replace the Address1:Country.

and then I create a workflow to copy the value from Option Set Country to Address1:Country.

after that I created business rule to hide the Address1:Country.

why I do this, because I want to copy only the "Address1" to Appointment's "Location", I don't want to copy Address1.Street + Address1.City + Option Set Country to it.

after test I found the Country shown duplicated (in Option Set Country & Address1).

my question is, is there any trick to hide the "value" of several Address's field? not to hide the composite "field" but the "value"?

or actually what filled on Address1's composite atrributes will be shown on Address1, even we hide those several fields?

Regards,

Rico

You can simply remove complete address section if you don't have any map related requirements and just address field to one section what ever you require.

    Hi Rico,

The best way to go for it is to remove the composite control as you might not be gaining much out of it. Place the address fields individually as the values in composite field cannot be hidden.
